Partners with firms that clean or haul away unneeded materials for the next home. Followed her advice on listing price and receive offers and sold for more than the asking price in 1. Something days. Closing was perfect as scheduled at the time of sale. Tough act to follow but that her mode if operation. Life is good!!!

We moved from California to Illinois, so, much of the house hunting process was done over Facetime. Not ideal. But the reason we could make it work was because of Joyce Courtney. She was amazing. She provided great insight to each and every house we looked at. She really understood what we wanted and helped us find the perfect fit. She's attentive, responsive and detail oriented-- all things that as first time home buyers, we really needed. We knew we wanted to live in the Tri-Cities and there is no one with more connections there than Joyce. Need a plumber? She's got one. A contractor? No problem. Joyce has her finger on the pulse of the community-- we've been in our house now for two months and she's still helping us navigate everything. When our signing was taking longer than expected she even drove to the house to let a cleaning crew in for us. Outstanding experience working with Joyce Courtney, and her company, from first contact through sale and activities after sale. We met Joyce after we noticed she had sold a home in a particular area of St. Charles we were interested in. We worked with her to see a number of homes in that area. We ended up finding a new construction subdivision in Wheaton but hired Joyce to sell our townhome. Joyce worked very hard in an unprecedented pandemic time and was eventually successful in finding us a buyer. Joyce is diligent, professional and hard working. I am sure you hear all the time “We really like working with you.” Perhaps what you don’t often hear is why. Your initial presentation, based on mathematical analysis, was by far the most thorough of any presentation we had by any of the four Realtors we interviewed. You clearly put a lot of time and thought into it. You did not pressure us to list with you at all. Your initial analysis of how we should price our house and what our house would sell for was very accurate and higher than any of the other realtors. Your presentation of the property from its staging to printed materials, was very well reviewed by prospective buyers. Your promise to “shake the trees” among local agents to find us a buyer interested in preserving our historic property yielded exactly such a buyer through a local agent. Your advice about timing the presentation of our house on the market was very accurate. We had a contract which lead to a sale within 10 days of marketing the house. Your handling negotiations was highly professional. You looked out for our interests and you kept the tone pleasant. Your handling of paperwork was nothing short of amazing. The fact that you use both electronic and supportive print documentation was very much appreciated. Your demeanor was always pleasant and your personal presentation highly professional. You treated everyone involved with dignity. You stood by us throughout the process, even after the close of the deal when we had warranty issues. You gave us a lot of your time, as you continue to do, by keeping us abreast of the market, informing us about helpful tools and applications, and by inviting us to local events which you sponsor. Joyce had a vision for the sale of our home for an amount that was (she did not know this) 20% above a recent professional appraisal and 20% more than what we expected. It sold for the full amount in two weeks. Joyce also helped us with our move out of state after the sale. She is awesome!
